SleekLiving was started by Shane Prasad, who also founded Landed Property Group, after years of watching Auckland families run out of room and run into the cost of moving. A granny flat, an expanding home or a pergola can solve that on the section they already have, if someone handles the whole job and tells them the real price.
One number, before you commit
Most suppliers quote the box and let you discover the rest. We quote the home, the delivery, the build, the connections and the council charges together, in writing, and that is the number you pay.
Honest about the rules
The 2026 granny flat rules are genuinely good news, and also easy to get wrong. We tell you when a design needs a consent, when a site rules something out, and when the smaller option is the smarter buy.
Property people, not just product people
Our founder also runs Landed Property Group, an Auckland real estate agency. We see every week what a well built minor dwelling does for a family, a rental return and a resale, and Landed can appraise, rent out and manage your granny flat once it is built.
Paperwork done properly
When there is no council inspection, the document pack is your proof. We hand it over complete: plans, records of work and certificates, ready for the bank, the insurer and the next buyer.
